In this assignment, you will develop a personality branding strategy for a celebrity of your choice (real or imagined, dead or alive) to promote a product or service.
Instructions:
- Select a celebrity personality to work with. Examples include a quirky, introverted author or an outgoing, adventurous athlete.
- Research your celebrity’s personality to gain a deeper understanding of their behavior and interests.
- Identify a product or service to market that aligns with your celebrity’s personality, motivations, and interests.
- Develop a personality branding strategy for the celebrity that incorporates psychological factors related to motivation, personality, and emotion. Your strategy should include the following components:
- Target market: Clearly define your target market and explain why your chosen personality branding strategy is relevant to them.
- Messaging: Develop messaging that incorporates your celebrity’s personality and resonates with your target market.
- Marketing mix: Develop a marketing mix that includes product, price, place, and promotion strategies that align with your chosen personality branding strategy and resonate with your target market.
- Messaging tools: Will the use of different messaging tools impact the depth of your message? Could that then influence product interest?
- Implementation: Describe how your personality branding strategy will be implemented, including any channels or tactics you plan to use to reach your target market.
Present your personality branding strategy with all components above in a three to four-page written response supported by at least five credible sources.
