- For a location of your choice, give an overview of the population. (Use the US Census website or a similar site to find the demographics of the community.) List and describe what you feel are the main socioeconomic and demographic factors to keep in mind when considering community risk reduction strategies for this community.
- Explain how a Company Officer at a fire department can use this information to their advantage during the implementation of a community risk reduction program. How can failing to use this information make our risk reduction efforts more difficult?
