Although you won’t actually be working in a group, you will outline how you would plan and organize a group project, including setting roles, timelines, and strategies for collaboration. This practice will help you build skills that are needed for effective teamwork in today’s digital workplace.

As a Team Leader, you are asked to form a task force to accomplish the following SMART goal:
- Evaluate the features and benefits of 2-3 potential collaboration tools within 2 weeks.

Instructions
In the Hypothetical Group Project Plan template or in the text submission box below, please respond to the following:
- Explain how the provided goal from the Scenario section is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (S.M.A.R.T.). What makes this a S.M.A.R.T. goal?
- Determine a specific role and corresponding responsibilities for each group member that directly relate to the provided S.M.A.R.T. goal.
- Create a list with 5 key tasks for the group to complete that directly relate to the provided S.M.A.R.T. goal.
- Determine the amount of time needed to complete each of the 5 tasks (i.e., hours, days, weeks).
- Describe 1-2 collaboration tools your group will use, including how their features will support group communication and teamwork.
- Identify 1-2 challenges the group might face and include how you would prevent the challenges from interfering with the group’s teamwork.
