This assignment is to fulfill CLO1 – Evaluate operational strategies for process improvement. This assignment aligns with CLO1 by encouraging students to evaluate operational strategies critically and propose actionable improvements.
Assignment Description:
This assignment needs to be completed INDIVIDUALLY.
Students are required to select an organisation of their choice (preferably one they are familiar with or can access publicly available data). Students will have to:
1. Identify a specific operational process within the organisation.
2. Analyse the current operational strategy used for the selected process.
3. Propose improvements to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, or overall performance of the process.
4. Justify the proposed changes, supported by relevant concepts, frameworks, or data.
Assignment Format:
- Length: 1,500 – 2,000 words (excluding references).
- Font Type/Size: Times New Roman / Size 12
- Line spacing: 1.5 (Justify)
- Total Page Number: Not more than FOUR (4) pages, including the cover page.
Structure:
1. Introduction: Brief overview of the organisation and the chosen operational process.
2. Current Operational Strategy: Detailed analysis of the current process and its challenges or inefficiencies.
