Article/News clip Insights – There will be two articles/new clips due this semester that you will be sharing pertaining to any incidences regarding a juvenile matter involving either police incidents, juvenile crime, neglect/abuse allegations, positive stories involving juveniles, or any story that relates to the class material that has taken place within the past year. Your responses must be typed and must be three paragraphs that include 1). Your brief summary of the article/news clip, 2). Your opinion statement of why you agreed or disagreed with the actions of the parties involved i.e. the courts, officers, juvenile institution personnel, parents, guardians etc., and 3). Justify your response by providing some support statement from what you have learned in class or text book or from additional research. Also, please include in the paragraph how you would have handled this matter in the capacity as a Criminal Justice professional. You must attach the article or news clip to your submission or include the link and or source.
